        Sunflower

Sunflower microgreens offer one of the most balanced forms of complete plant protein. They provide all the essential amino acids to repair muscle tissue, having one of the highest protein contents among leafy greens! They contain more enzymes than most other vegetables, and are rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K, and minerals like

        iron and magnesium.

Sunflower microgreens have a crunchy and nutty flavor. They are often used in sandwiches, salads, wraps, quesadillas, sushi, and salad rolls.

Try pureeing into fresh juice smoothies for an unparalleled nutritional boost you can feel immediately.

        Pea

Pea microgreens may help produce and maintain cell health and protect against DNA damage. They are dense with antioxidants and phytonutrients needed to support the body’s natural anti-inflammatory functions. Pea shoots contain many of the nutrients that can help keep blood sugar balanced and possibly lower the risk of developing diabetes, as well as being supportive to those who have type 2 diabetes.

They have an outstanding nutrient-to-calorie ratio and are high in dietary fiber, which helps to control body weight and regulate metabolism, digestion, and elimination. Pea microgreens are sweet and fragrant. Add them, chopped finely, to soups, stir fries, and even smoothies!

        Daikon

Daikon microgreens are loaded with vitamins, like vitamin C and A. They contain antioxidants that protect against oxidative stress and isothiocyanates, compounds with potential anti-inflammatory properties.

They are very low in calories and high in fiber, making them a great support for digestive health. Also, daikon shoots can help to improve kidney function and lessen swelling of the legs.

They can help clean the blood and eliminate toxins through the kidneys, liver, sweat glands, and digestive tract. Daikon microgreens are tender and a little spicy. They are especially great on egg salad, tacos, croissants, curries, and fish dishes.

      • Our Sustainable Farming Practices

        Section image

        Real Organic

Chuckleberry is surrounded by forest as far as the eye can see.
With this natural buffer, we are protected from pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, and the chemical inputs alarmingly traveling by wind to affect many organic farms. Our water is filtered through 200 feet of glacial sand and tested for purity every 6 months. Everything that we use comes directly from nature, and none of our inputs are industrially made - the way Nature intended.

        Regenerative Farming

Even though we cultivate only 2 acres of land, we grow thousands of pounds of produce every year. Our high yields are due to our incredibly rich and healthy soils and deep respect for the local ecology ⛰️🌿
Our regenerative farming practices draw carbon into the ground, and our farm is free from fossil fuel-burning machines and synthetic inputs. Instead of traveling to town to pick up fertilizers, we nourish our soils with neighboring horse manure, composted and cured in-house

        Human Powered

Our human-powered operation relies on no tractors or machines, only simple hand tools. Our soils are rich in biodiversity and full of organic matter. No-till practices protect the integrity of the soil structure, reduce soil loss, sequester carbon, and increase water-holding capacity.
We are proud to intimately engage with the land using our own hands, protecting and regenerating our soils.

        Support Local

What would happen if a flood or landslide prevented trucks from entering your region?
There would be no produce on the shelf, except the one from your local farmer.
Corporately owned grocery stores and farms endanger the resiliency
        of our food systems.

Take a stand for your local food security by investing in your neighboring farm!🥕
Buying our microgreens in the summer allows us to provide you with microgreens in the winter when no other greens are grown locally.
